The NBA Trade Deadline this year is February 6th at 3pm Eastern Time. After this date, no teams are allowed to trade players until the season is over
Buyout Market
After the Trade Deadline, the buyout market will open. Sometimes players will negotiate a contract buyout so they can join a better team.
Other Important Dates
The regular season will end in April, and the play-in tournament along with the NBA Playoffs will beging.
